Project and Document Review
Construction drawings, technical specifications, contract documents, work schedules and related technical documents are reviewed to assess the requirements governing on-site implementation.
Railway Supervision Services
TCDD 2nd Regional Directorate Supervision Services encompass technical control and on-site inspection activities to ensure that railway projects within the Regional Directorate’s area of responsibility are carried out in compliance with contracts, technical specifications, approved designs and applicable legislation.
Through a supervision process spanning project and document reviews, construction inspections, material compliance, progress monitoring and technical reporting, implementation quality, schedules and project requirements are monitored regularly.
Scope of Services
Supervision services are performed through a systematic inspection approach based on the coordinated assessment of design documents, on-site works, materials used and project progress.
Construction drawings, technical specifications, contract documents, work schedules and related technical documents are reviewed to assess the requirements governing on-site implementation.
Railway infrastructure, superstructure and other works within the project scope are regularly inspected on site to verify their compliance with approved designs and technical specifications.
The technical properties, certificates of conformity, test results and on-site performance of materials used in the project are evaluated to monitor compliance with quality requirements.
On-site progress is compared with the approved work schedule, while progress status, critical activities, potential delays and implementation priorities are monitored regularly.
Works and practices that do not comply with technical requirements are recorded, and the necessary corrective actions are identified, implemented and verified.
Findings related to site observations, construction progress, quality controls, non-conformities and overall project progress are documented in regular technical reports and submitted to the relevant departments.
Supervision Approach
The development of safe, high-quality and durable railway infrastructure depends on implementation being based on accurate technical documentation and every stage of construction being regularly inspected.
In its supervision activities within the area of responsibility of the TCDD 2nd Regional Directorate, KTM Group maintains a continuous verification process between project documentation and on-site implementation. This enables technical non-conformities to be identified at an early stage, corrective actions to be monitored and project progress to be assessed using documented data.
