Periodic Maintenance Activities
We assess the operating conditions of turbines, generators and auxiliary facility equipment and support the early identification of potential faults through scheduled inspections and maintenance activities.
Maintenance and Technical Consultancy
Located in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye, Tayfun Hydroelectric Power Plant is a renewable energy facility with a total installed capacity of 1 MW, comprising two generation units with a capacity of 0.5 MW each.
The maintenance, repair and technical consultancy services provided by KTM Group encompass assessing the current condition of the power plant’s equipment, analysing faults, planning the necessary technical interventions and sustainably improving operational performance.
Scope of Services
We assess the plant’s hydromechanical, electromechanical and electrical systems through an integrated approach and develop solutions that support generation continuity, equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
We assess the operating conditions of turbines, generators and auxiliary facility equipment and support the early identification of potential faults through scheduled inspections and maintenance activities.
We investigate the root causes of faults occurring in mechanical, electrical and control systems and determine appropriate repair methods and technical intervention procedures.
We assess the turbines, generators, bearings, cooling systems and auxiliary mechanical systems of the two 0.5 MW generation units in terms of operational safety and performance.
We provide technical assessments and improvement recommendations to support the reliable operation of electrical panels, protection systems, measuring equipment, control circuits and automation infrastructure.
We jointly analyse generation data, equipment behaviour and operating conditions to reduce energy losses and improve facility performance.
We provide engineering consultancy tailored to the facility’s needs for maintenance planning, equipment modernisation, spare-parts selection, technical risk management and operational decisions.
Sustainable Operations
Reliable generation at hydroelectric power plants depends on regular equipment monitoring, the early detection of fault indicators and the planning of maintenance activities using accurate technical data.
KTM Group evaluates the mechanical, electrical and automation systems of Tayfun Hydroelectric Power Plant as an interconnected whole. By determining maintenance priorities based on field findings and operational data, we aim to reduce unplanned downtime, preserve equipment service life and support continuous generation.
