Renewable Energy Investments
Established in 2010, Çamlıyayla Energy Electricity Generation Inc. operates to develop renewable energy investments and implement hydroelectric power generation projects.
Environmental assessment, technical planning and project development studies are ongoing for the AKHAN-1 and AKHAN-2 Regulator and Hydroelectric Power Plant projects, which the company plans to implement in the Karageçit area of Çamlıyayla, Mersin.

Project Focus
Regulator and hydroelectric power plant projects designed to utilise water resources for renewable electricity generation.
Conducting technical research, planning and engineering studies in line with the characteristics of the project site and the requirements of the investment.
Examining the environmental impacts of projects within the relevant processes and conducting the necessary assessment studies.
Energy investments that support the development of generation capacity based on domestic and renewable resources.
Project Development Process
The AKHAN-1 and AKHAN-2 projects are being developed in accordance with sustainable investment principles by jointly evaluating site conditions, technical requirements, environmental impacts and regulatory processes.
The project area’s hydrological characteristics, terrain conditions and energy potential are evaluated using technical data.
The engineering approach for the regulator and power plant components is developed based on site data and project requirements.
The project’s environmental impacts are examined, and the necessary research, reporting and assessment studies are conducted within the scope of the Environmental Impact Assessment process.
Following the completion of technical and administrative processes, preparations for advancing the investment to the implementation stage are planned.
